King of Prussia Mall: Shopping Spree!
When I was a kid, I used to travel for figure skating competitions. One thing my family and I would do is find the best mall in the area. During one competition in eastern PA, we discovered King of Prussia (KOP) which forever stuck in my mind as “the best mall ever.”
Later in life, I lived in Easton, PA for a few years and made it a habit of traveling the hour every month to go there. Any time I have a chance to go back, I do.
Some of the stores I hit while there (that I don’t have in my area):
- Neiman Marcus
- Jimmy Choo
- Lilly Pulitzer
- Ballard Designs
- Bloomingdale’s
- Christian Louboutin
- Ted Baker
- Primark
- Zara
KOP also has great places to eat. When I lived in the area, I used to get bubbles at The Cheesecake Factory (don’t knock it because it’s a chain, I love it there!) and then go shopping for hours feeling extra bubbly. This time when I visited, I wanted to go to Sweetgreen. I had been there once in New York, and I was obsessed. I haven’t found anything comparable back home.
I ordered a create your own salad bowl: greens, quinoa, sweet potatoes, shaved parmesan cheese, and Caesar dressing. I could have had another bowl.
Note: I loved my meal so much, I ate it before even taking a picture.
