As an assistant professor, I teach and research social media’s impact on relationships,
specifically romantic relationships.
It all began when I was an undergraduate student and realized you could study interpersonal relationships. That led to me completing an honors’ thesis exploring how attraction is communicated in relationships.
I then went on for my master’s degree where I researched Facebook and romantic jealousy.
Finally, I earned my Ph.D. and completed a dissertation on the life cycle of Tinder relationships.
